1. Technologies Necessary for Nettu to Operate
Nettu uses technologies necessary to allow access to the Account, authenticate users, maintain sessions, protect the Service against unauthorized access, retain certain technical settings, and operate essential application features.
These technologies may also be used to remember decisions related to privacy or Service settings when necessary to respect the choice made by the user. When a person expressly selects a preference, such as language, appearance, or another interface setting, Nettu may store it locally so that it does not need to be configured again on each visit.
Nettu’s progressive web application also uses caching mechanisms to reduce loading times and improve performance. Currently, this cache is used primarily to optimize the delivery of resources and the operation of the application and is not intended to provide a substantial offline mode.
The technologies covered by this section do not require additional authorization when they are essential to provide a function expressly requested by the user or to maintain the security and operation of the Service. Blocking them through the browser may prevent sign-in, cause preferences to be lost, or affect certain Nettu features.
Nettu describes these technologies according to their function and does not publish details of its internal architecture, technical cookie names, infrastructure providers, or configurations in this Policy when such information is not necessary to understand the processing performed.
2. Optional Analytics, Advertising, and Measurement Technologies
As of the date of this Policy, Nettu does not use optional analytics, advertising, or remarketing technologies on the new landing page that require activation through visitor consent.
The configuration of tools intended for search engine positioning or indexing does not, by itself, imply the installation of optional tracking technologies on the user’s device and is not included within the categories governed by this Policy when it does not involve that type of processing.
If Nettu later introduces technologies intended to measure browsing behavior, attribute campaigns, analyze website usage, provide personalized advertising, or conduct remarketing, those technologies will not be activated before obtaining the corresponding authorization when such authorization is required. This Policy will be updated before or at the time of implementation to describe the categories and purposes involved.
When optional technologies subject to consent are used, Nettu will provide a mechanism that allows users to Accept All, Reject All, or Configure the available categories. Optional categories will remain disabled unless the user has made an affirmative choice authorizing their use.
The selected preference may be retained for a period of up to six months, unless the user changes their settings sooner or a material change in the technologies or purposes makes it necessary to request their choice again.
3. Payments Through Stripe
When the user chooses to purchase a paid Plan, they may be redirected to a checkout environment operated by Stripe, a specialized payment processing provider.
Within that environment, Stripe may use cookies and other technologies necessary to process the transaction, protect the payment process, authenticate transactions, and prevent fraud. The operation of those technologies takes place within the environment operated by Stripe and is also subject to Stripe’s own policies and settings.
Nettu does not use technologies necessary for Stripe checkout for its own advertising purposes. Full card details and security codes entered directly into the payment environment are not stored by Nettu.
Disabling technologies essential to the operation of checkout may prevent a transaction from being completed successfully.
4. Managing Preferences
As long as Nettu uses only necessary or functional technologies associated with an action expressly requested by the user, it will not be necessary to display a banner intended to obtain consent for optional technologies.
If analytics, advertising, remarketing, or other categories requiring authorization are later introduced, users will be able to manage them through Configure Cookies. This mechanism will allow users to modify or withdraw consent at any time.
When authorization is withdrawn, Nettu will stop loading or using, from that point forward, the optional technologies included in the disabled category. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawfully carried out while the authorization remained in effect.
A cookie or identifier already stored on the device may remain until its expiration date or until it is deleted through browser settings. Nettu does not guarantee that it can directly delete cookies created by third parties when it does not technically control them.
Users may also delete, restrict, or block cookies and other stored data through their browser tools. These options are independent of the preferences available within Nettu and may affect both optional technologies and those necessary for the operation of the Account.
5. Changes to this Policy and Contact
This Policy may be modified when the technologies used by Nettu or the purposes for which they are used change. An editorial correction or a change that does not materially alter the processing may be reflected by updating the published version.
If Nettu introduces an optional technology that requires consent, it will not be considered authorized merely because the user previously used the website or accepted an earlier version of this Policy. The corresponding mechanism will be provided to obtain or modify the user’s choice before the technology is used whenever legally required.
