1. Account, Minimum Age, and Security
To create an Account and use Nettu, the user must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. The user must provide accurate information when necessary for the operation of the Account and keep information relevant to the provision of the Service up to date.
The Account is personal and must not be sold, assigned, or routinely made available to other persons. The user must take reasonable measures to protect their devices, credentials, and sessions and prevent unauthorized third-party access. If the user detects unrecognized activity, loss of a device, compromised credentials, or any other circumstance that may place the Account at risk, the user must notify Nettu as soon as reasonably possible.
Nettu may request proportionate verification measures when necessary to recover an Account, investigate possible unauthorized access, or protect the user and the Service. It may also terminate sessions, require renewed authentication, or revoke access when there is a security-related reason to do so. Responsibility for operations carried out through an Account will depend on the circumstances of each case and will not automatically be attributed to the user when the incident results from a failure attributable to Nettu.
2. Nature and Operation of Nettu
Nettu is a technology tool for organizing and managing personal finances. Depending on the available features and the Plan used, it may allow users to record and classify income and expenses, organize financial information, manage budgets or goals, review records, process information provided by the user, create reminders or events, and use features assisted by artificial intelligence.
Nettu is not a bank, financial institution, brokerage firm, fiduciary, or investment advisor. It does not receive or hold users’ money or securities, execute investments on their behalf, grant credit, or independently determine a person’s credit eligibility. Information, budgets, projections, classifications, analyses, or responses obtained through the Service are intended for organizational and informational purposes and do not replace financial, tax, accounting, legal, or investment advice provided by a qualified professional.
The specific scope of the Service depends on the features available, the Plan purchased, the permissions granted by the user, and, where applicable, external services the user has chosen to connect. The relevant features, limits, and commercial terms of each Plan will be displayed before purchase.
Nettu, or certain features, may be identified as Beta, Experimental, Preview, or by an equivalent designation while they remain under development. During those stages, changes, errors, or interruptions may occur more frequently than with a stable feature. Such designation does not reduce the user’s legal rights or allow Nettu to arbitrarily withdraw a material benefit corresponding to a period that has already been paid.
3. User Content, Artificial Intelligence, and Automations
The user retains any rights they may have over messages, documents, images, audio, financial records, and other content they add to the Service. By using Nettu, the user grants only a technical, non-exclusive, and limited authorization to receive, store, transmit, organize, process, or transform such content to the extent necessary to perform the requested functions, maintain and protect the Service, or comply with legal obligations. This authorization does not transfer ownership of the user’s information to Nettu.
When content includes data or materials belonging to another person, the user must have sufficient rights, authorization, or legal basis to use them. Nettu may restrict content when reasonably necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the security of the Service, address third-party rights, or respond to a violation of these Terms.
Artificial intelligence features may interpret instructions, extract information from files or messages, classify records, perform calculations, produce summaries, and generate other results. Due to the nature of these systems, a response may contain errors, omissions, duplicates, or incorrect interpretations, and its quality may be affected when the information provided is incomplete, ambiguous, or inaccurate. The user must review any information they intend to use to make payments, comply with tax obligations, make financial decisions, or take any other action that could have significant consequences.
Reminders, alerts, and notifications should also not be used as the sole mechanism for managing obligations whose noncompliance may result in significant consequences. Their delivery may depend on connectivity, permissions, device settings, operating systems, or external services. The processing of content through artificial intelligence systems and the conditions applicable to its use for model training or improvement are described in the Privacy Notice.
4. Vault, Integrations, and External Channels
The Vault is a feature intended for the storage and management of credentials, secrets, and private notes deliberately added by the user. Information stored in it does not constitute an instruction to the assistant and must not be used as ordinary context for artificial intelligence features.
The user decides what information to store in the Vault. Due to the sensitivity of certain secrets, Nettu recommends not using it to store banking PINs, CVV codes, one-time codes, dynamic tokens, recovery keys, or other information whose disclosure could immediately enable a financial transaction or the recovery of a particularly sensitive account.
Nettu will not ask the user to disclose Vault passwords, banking PINs, CVV codes, OTP codes, dynamic tokens, or recovery keys through email, WhatsApp, support, or ordinary conversations with the assistant. Verified technical characteristics relating to Vault protection, encryption, and recovery will be described in the Security information published by Nettu.
The user may connect certain external services when that feature is available. Connecting them will require the corresponding permissions, and Nettu may only access information or perform actions within the scope of the authorization granted. When an instruction may create, modify, or delete information in an external service, its effects may occur outside Nettu.
Permissions for an integration may be withdrawn through the mechanisms available in Nettu or in the corresponding service. Once withdrawn, features that depend on that connection will stop working. External services are subject to their own systems and terms, so an interruption or modification of those services may temporarily affect certain Nettu features. Responsibility arising from any incident will be determined according to its cause and applicable law.
5. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use
The software, code, design, interfaces, trademarks, documentation, graphic elements, and other proprietary components of Nettu belong to NETTU AI or are lawfully used under license. Creating an Account grants the user a personal, limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and the conditions of the applicable Plan. It does not constitute a transfer of rights over the software, trademarks, or other intellectual property assets.
The Service must be used lawfully and in accordance with its intended purpose. It may not be used to commit fraud or impersonate another person; access accounts, systems, or information without authorization; introduce malicious software; deliberately interfere with the security or availability of the platform; exploit vulnerabilities or conduct security testing without authorization; circumvent access controls, technical limits, or payment mechanisms; perform scraping, abusive automation, or activities that degrade the Service; improperly obtain confidential information belonging to Nettu or third parties; or resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Nettu outside the expressly authorized conditions.
These restrictions do not prevent legitimate activities permitted by law or security research previously authorized by Nettu. Comments, suggestions, and reports submitted voluntarily may be used to correct errors or develop the Service, without transferring ownership of the user’s personal data, financial information, or documents to Nettu.
6. Plans, Pricing, Promotions, and Purchase
Nettu may offer a free Plan and one or more paid Plans. The features, limits, billing frequency, total price, applicable taxes, and other commercial terms of each Plan will be those displayed to the user before purchase is confirmed. The specific conditions presented at that time will form part of the purchased Subscription.
Current exact prices and commercial features are not permanently fixed through these Terms. When a price change affects a future renewal, Nettu will communicate the new amount before charging it and will allow the user to cancel the Subscription before the change becomes applicable.
For transactions directed at consumers in Mexico, the total price shown before purchase will include taxes that must be incorporated into the final amount. When a transaction is subject to different tax conditions, the user will be informed of the applicable amount before authorizing payment.
Nettu may offer promotions, discounts, or special pricing, including benefits associated with a Beta stage. The specific conditions of each promotion must be displayed before purchase and indicate, as applicable, its validity period, eligibility requirements, conditions for retaining the benefit, and circumstances under which it may end. Such conditions will form part of the specific purchase without modifying the remaining provisions of these Terms.
7. Subscriptions, Renewals, and Failed Payments
Before purchasing a Subscription with recurring charges, the user will be informed of the applicable amount, billing frequency, and the information necessary to identify the billing date or billing period. Nettu will also request express authorization to make automatic recurring charges, separate from the general acceptance of these Terms.
Subscriptions will automatically renew according to the purchased billing frequency until canceled. Nettu will send a renewal notice at least five calendar days before the applicable charge through the email address associated with the Account and an in-app notification. The notice will state the amount to be charged and provide access to the cancellation mechanism without penalty.
If the user changes Plans, the financial terms and the date on which the change will take effect must be displayed before confirmation. Any prorated adjustment, credit, or charge resulting from the change will be disclosed in advance where applicable.
When a payment fails, Nettu may notify the user and request an updated payment method. While a Subscription remains overdue, features associated with the paid Plan may be temporarily restricted. If a promotion depends on maintaining a continuous Subscription, a failed payment will not cause the benefit to be lost during the first 14 calendar days following the missed payment. During this period, the user may bring the payment current, although paid features may remain restricted. If the period ends without payment being brought current, Nettu may change the Account to the free Plan or restrict the corresponding features, and the promotional benefit may end in accordance with the conditions under which it was granted.
8. Cancellation, Withdrawal, Refunds, and Consumer Rights
The user may cancel a Subscription through the Plan management feature available within Nettu. Cancellation will prevent future renewals from the time it is processed and will not be subject to a penalty. Unless there is another reason justifying restriction of the Account, the user may continue using the features corresponding to the already-paid period until it ends.
Canceling a Subscription is not the same as deleting the Account. If the user also wishes to close the Account, they must use the corresponding procedure. Subsequent retention and deletion of information will be governed by the Privacy Notice.
Cancellation should also not be confused with any legal right of withdrawal that may apply to a particular transaction. Nettu will recognize such right when required under applicable law. These Terms do not create an additional voluntary withdrawal period where the law does not require one.
Ordinary cancellation does not automatically entitle the user to a proportional refund for the unused portion of an already-paid period. However, the user may request review of an exceptional refund when they believe there was a duplicate or incorrect charge, an error attributable to Nettu, a serious interruption of the Service, or another justified circumstance.
To use this voluntary policy, the request must be sent to help@support.nettu.ai within 15 calendar days following the charge the user wishes to have reviewed. Nettu will evaluate each case and may request only the information reasonably necessary to identify the transaction and circumstances of the request. Submitting a request does not mean that a refund will be automatically granted.
The 15-day period applies exclusively to this voluntary policy and does not reduce any time limits, refunds, credits, compensation, or other non-waivable rights recognized under applicable law. When a credit or compensation is legally required due to deficient performance or failure to provide the Service for a reason attributable to Nettu, it will be provided in accordance with applicable provisions.
9. Receipts and Invoicing
After a charge, the user may receive or access a commercial receipt for the transaction. This document does not replace a Comprobante Fiscal Digital por Internet when the user requires one under Mexican tax law.
CFDI requests may be sent to admin@support.nettu.ai, together with the tax information and transaction reference necessary for issuance. Issuance will not incur an additional cost and will be subject to the accuracy of the information provided and to the request being made within the period during which the corresponding tax receipt may legally be issued or replaced.
10. Availability, Service Changes, Suspension, and Account Closure
Nettu will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and operating properly. However, interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, technical incidents, security, connectivity, or external services. When reasonably possible, scheduled interventions that may materially affect use of the Service will be communicated in advance.
Nettu may make corrections, updates, and reasonable changes necessary to maintain, improve, or protect the Service. If a modification materially reduces a feature included in a paid Plan, the user will be informed with reasonable advance notice and may cancel before the next renewal. A modification may not be used to retroactively deprive the user of conditions corresponding to a period already paid. Urgent changes required for security, legal compliance, or technical continuity may be implemented without prior notice when waiting could reasonably increase the risk.
The Account may be suspended immediately when there are reasonable indications of fraud, unlawful activity, unauthorized access, serious security risk, a valid request from an authority, or another circumstance whose nature requires urgent action. When the matter involves a remediable breach that does not present that level of risk, Nettu will make reasonable efforts to notify the user and provide a reasonable opportunity to correct it before adopting a final measure.
Permanent termination by Nettu will be reserved for serious or repeated violations, situations that cannot reasonably be corrected, or circumstances in which a legal obligation prevents continued provision of the Service. When circumstances allow, the reason will be communicated and a channel will be provided for the user to submit a clarification.
The user may request closure of their Account through the available features or through support. Closure cancels future renewals and begins the information deletion or retention process described in the Privacy Notice. It does not eliminate obligations lawfully incurred before closure or prevent retention of records that must be kept due to a legal obligation or to address a pending dispute.
11. Changes to these Terms and Communications
Nettu may update these Terms when necessary due to legal changes, material modifications to the Service, or contractual adjustments that must be properly reflected. Editorial corrections, clarifications, or modifications that do not materially reduce the user’s rights may be incorporated by publishing a new version and updating the date indicated at the beginning.
Changes that materially alter the terms of a Subscription will be communicated through email and an in-app notification before they take effect, where applicable. They will not be applied retroactively in a manner that adversely affects conditions corresponding to an already-paid period. If the change affects a future renewal, the user may cancel before it becomes applicable; when the law requires renewed consent, Nettu will request the corresponding acceptance again.
Nettu may retain electronic evidence of the version of the Terms accepted and the date and operation through which acceptance occurred.
Communications relating to security, the Account, Subscription, payments, contractual changes, or other operational matters may be sent to the email address associated with the Account and through mechanisms available within the application. The user must maintain a valid email address while keeping an active Account.
12. Support, Complaints, and Dispute Resolution
Support requests, inquiries, cancellations that cannot be completed through the application, and complaints may be submitted electronically to help@support.nettu.ai at any time. Electronic receipt is available 24 hours a day; requests are reviewed on business days, and Nettu will provide an initial response within a maximum of three business days.
Final resolution may require additional time when it depends on verification, additional information, a payment method, an external service, or the complexity of the matter. Nettu may request only the information reasonably necessary to identify the Account, transaction, or reported issue.
Nettu will never request a Vault password, banking PIN, CVV, OTP code, dynamic token, or recovery key through support, email, WhatsApp, or any other ordinary channel.
The user may use this channel to attempt to resolve a dispute directly with Nettu. Contacting support first is voluntary and is not a condition for exercising rights before the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor), a data protection authority, a court, or another competent authority when the user may contact such authority directly under applicable law.
13. Applicable Law and Final Provisions
These Terms will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Mexican States to the extent that such choice is legally valid. When another law is mandatorily applicable to a consumer relationship and recognizes rights that cannot be excluded by contract, these Terms are not intended to limit them.
Disputes that are not resolved directly may be submitted to competent administrative authorities or courts in accordance with applicable law. No provision requires a consumer to waive non-waivable rights in advance or submit to a foreign jurisdiction that cannot legally be imposed.
If any provision of these Terms is declared invalid or unenforceable, that determination will not, by itself, affect the remaining provisions, provided that the agreement can reasonably continue without the affected provision. Nettu’s failure to immediately exercise a right does not constitute a permanent waiver of the right to exercise it later.
These Terms, together with the specific conditions of the Plan, promotion, or offer displayed and accepted at the time of purchase, contain the contractual rules applicable to the use of Nettu. The Privacy Notice, Cookie Policy, and Security information govern different matters and must be interpreted according to their respective purposes.
When Nettu provides translations of these Terms, it will make reasonable efforts to preserve the same substantive content. The Spanish-language version will be the controlling contractual text to the extent permitted by applicable law.
